Did you know raccoons can growl? I learned this while I was rescuing this big guy from a second-story window ledge in my apartment building. (Yes, in the background, I had built a makeshift branch from a light stand, a backdrop pole and seamless box.) Between this and catching a thief at the neighborhood grocery store last week, I think I’m in danger of becoming known as a stand-up citizen.
